The Big Story: Reading the Bible to Know God - Week 5

What do you expect when you open your Bible? In our study of Job, we’ve been talking about a God who addresses us in the second person, who wants us to know Him more than he wants us to know about Him. But for many of us, the Bible seems like a bewildering list of rules, names, and far-removed history. Where do we find intimacy with God in the midst of all this? In this class, we’ll take a step back to talk about how God has revealed His heart to us through a cohesive story, running from Genesis to Revelation. The goal of this class is to make us wiser readers of God’s word, to the end that reading it would lead us deeper into prayer and communion with God and His people.
