Giving

At Christ the King Newton, tithes and offerings are used for two different purposes, separated into different funds:

  • The General Fund goes towards the general administration of the church

  • The Deacon Fund is reserved for serving the needs of the community

Offerings can be made to either fund regardless of whether you give by check, cash, or digital payment.

Giving on Sundays or by Mail

Tithes and offerings can be given by cash or check during the Sunday service or by mail to the church using our address at the bottom of the page. You can donate to either fund by check at any time by designating “General Fund“ or “Deacon Fund” in the memo line. Checks can be made payable to "Christ the King Church Newton". In addition, there is an Offertory for the General Fund during every Sunday service and an additional collection for the Deacon Fund at the end of the last Sunday service of every month.

Giving Online

Tithes and offerings can also be given through our online portal using debit card, credit card, or ACH (bank transfer). You can specify the fund to which you wish to give at the time of payment, as well as whether to give once or on a reoccurring basis.

A note on processing fees – Processing digital payments incurs an additional cost. For debit and credit cards, the fee is 2.15% + $0.30 per transaction. If your annual giving is $12,000, an estimated $275 would be spent on fees. Setting up ACH (bank transfer) recurring giving is only $0.25 per transaction, or an estimated $13 annually. You also have the option to cover the processing fees associated with your donation.

Donor statements

Christ the King Church Newton will issue quarterly and annual statements via email. Annual statements will be delivered by mail if we don't have your email address or if you request a paper copy of the statement. Your donation history and statements can be accessed anytime by visiting https://ctknewton.churchcenter.com/giving/profile.
