Time, Work and Sabbath — Most of us, when asked how we’re doing, reflexively answer, “Busy!” How can the Bible provide wisdom for our relationship to time? What does it tell us about the meaning and value of the work that God has called us to (paid and unpaid, and in all the different stages of our lives)? And what does it mean to enter into Sabbath rest? Can we relate to work and rest in a way that blesses not only us, but Newton and beyond in greater Boston? These are some of the most relevant and pressing questions we can explore, and we are thrilled to do so in the community of the church. We’ll begin on January 9th, and the class will run for six weeks through February 13th.
